circa 1857, with blued octagonal 3 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, scroll engraving to the muzzle and breech, double link under-barrel rammer, border and scroll engraved open iron frame with wedge locking, plain blued cylinder, self-cocking action with spurless hammer, chequered walnut grip and guarded trigger, together with a later wood case
